Labor and birth support includes:

• 1 or 2 prenatal visits to discuss your birth preferences and, if you choose, to meet with the other members of you birth team (partners, friends, family, and/or practicioners)
• Immediate availability by phone in the late stages of pregnancy
• Continuous in-person support during labor once you call me in.
• Support through at least the first hour after birth until you are settled with your support system and birth-day breast feeding goals have been achieved.
• A post-partum visit to discuss adjustment, provide resources, and to document the birth story.

I work happily with all types of births including home, hospital, and birthing center.; natural, medicated, or c-section. If you have not yet determined your birth preferences, I can provide information to help you do that.

As I am currently a doula-in-training working towards certification, I will be offering these services at low or even no cost ($0 – $500) for a few lucky clients. In the NYC area cost for these services usually ranges from $800 – $1,500.
